Bush Biography

 

The Australian bush contains a wealth of plantilife that so many people never even see. As an Australian returning home, after having lived in the US for 23 years, I found myself rediscovering the bush that I had wandered about in my youth. I began to imagine what it was like for the orignal settlers to see the bush for the first time and what it might look like if they captured it with a lens. There is a sense of loss in some of the images here, but also a great sense of hope through rebirth.
